Hello classmates:
I have never thought of writing a blog. Writing the blog has been a new experience, which took
a lot of work and time. For me it has been complex, because I have never liked to share my
ideas and thoughts through the web, I never thought I would do it, much less in English, because
is already difficult to write the things I like in Spanish, is more complicated to do it in another
language.
But throughout the semester I've been appreciating this thing of the blog, that my classmates read
and comment on what I write and read and comment on what they write, on topics related to art
and other subjects, tastes and interests, and we have all known a little more.
I think writing this blog has helped me improve my ability to write and I think I've been improving
post after post, and especially I think that I have been slowly improving my ability to learn English,
both read and write, that is what most rescued from this experience and for that I am very
thankful.
I wish to write more about art, especially painting and the different techniques and movements
that have existed throughout the history of mankind.

Hi all :
Today I'm going to talk about what I like to read and books that I read. Well, the truth is I've never
been good reader, and most of the books I've read in my life have been obliged, at school and I
think that's why I killed the desire to read, because those books were generally very bored. For
this reason, I have not a favorite writer.
But I can say that I like fantasy and romance, so the book’s series I've enjoyed most have been
Harry Potter and Twilight.
Since childhood I liked magic, and I think Harry Potter have an amazing world full of magic, where
you can appears elsewhere in the world to pass through a wall, where you fly with a broom, where
the pictures move, etc.. A world in which I would like to be, along with this I think the story is full
of values, such as friendship, loyalty, sacrifice, etc, and I also like how the character grows through
the books.
Then there is Twilight, where I love the love story between the main characters, a kind of love so
cliché, but every woman would like to have.

Today I will talk about technology, specifically about devices that are indispensable for people
today.
For me, the cell phone is the most important and currently I could not stop using it because it is
one of a kind device that allows communication, at any place you are and anytime a quick and
easy communication with people and love ones.
The cell allows locating people easier, especially for emergencies such as an accident, thing that
years ago it was impossible to report it immediately. Also, thanks to the massification of Internet,
people can be online through social networks, so you always know what's happening with friends
and family and see what happens in the world. Also with the cell you can work, play video games,
in short, allows a range of activities that previously required many others devices.
Well, actually I could not imagine my self today without a cell, although when I was younger this
small apparatus was not at all popular.

If I had the opportunity to travel, without hesitation Iwould choose France because it is the
birthplace of great painters, and to be more specific, Paris.
Paris has many nicknames, "The World Capital of Fashion and Culture", "The City of Love" but
his most famous nickname is "La Ville-Lumière", which translated from French means "The
City of Light," a name gained for to be the first center of education and ideas during the Age of
Enlightenment
Since childhood I have dreamed of visiting that city, and visit the famous Eiffel Tower, Champs
Elysees, the Louvre, the Pantheon, Notre-Dame, sail in the senna river, but also walk the streets
and see how the art breathe in every corner of the city.
But especially I would like to know the Louvre, due it is the most visited art museum in the world,
famous for his masterpieces, especially the Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci
Although I would like to visit France, I would not want to live away from my country and family.

Hello everyone:
Today I`m going to
talk about an article of religious art called "image and devotion" in
MNBA in Chile (Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes) This is an exposition called
"image and devotion".
The exposition was divided into
five topics, with the fundamental subjects of European and American religious
painting, treated at different times and representing different artistic
styles. The first area: Devotion, belief in shape realizes, in an introductory
way, expressions and devotional themes. The second area is the dual nature,
corresponds to pictures displaying the figure of Christ in the first cycle of
his life. The third area is the Passion cycle, favorite subject for artists of
all ages. The fourth theme is the body's grace, displaying a selection of
representation, at different times, of the Virgin Mary. The last subject is the
saints.
I choose this theme because I think
that religion is very important in art history, especially in Chile and South
America, were a lot people is Catholic or Christians and these themes are the
principal artistic inspiration in this part of the world.

Today the new post is about an artist i like and admire. he called Lucian Freud. this artist is painter and engraving british very famous. He is an important figurative artist to contemporary art.
Lucian is a realist painter and he work with to stain for manage an painting. with stain he can manage light, contrast and figure.
This artist is my favourite because i like the body`s drawing and the colour.
Lucian Freud was born 8 december in 1922, in Berlin, Germany. and die in the year 2011 in London.
My favourite painting of Lucian is a portrait.
Other artist i like so much is Rembrandt. He is an important artist, also painter and drawing. Rembrandt is an better and important artist baroque in the painting and engraving in the history of Holland.
This artist characterize for the light and the shadow. the famous light-dark in the painting and engraving more important of the history.
